FICCI CASCADE Inter-school Competition: Zero – Evasion
In an endeavour, to sensitize the young minds on the need to work together to address the growing hazards posed by counterfeiting and smuggling, FICCI CASCADE organized a Youth awareness Programme on “Ill effects of Smuggling & Counterfeiting on the Country and Role of Youth in Making India Free of illicit Trade” on 17th August at FICCI Federation House. Jindal Public School participated in the Inter-school competition in various categories like Painting, Elocution & Creative Writing competition. Jindalites left everyone awe-struck as they presented their talent so immaculately and effortlessly. The competition was a huge success. Principal sir appreciated all the participants for their efforts.
Jindal Public School was immersed in the celebration of 75 years of India’s independence. The Chief Guest, Honourable President Ma’am of Himanshu Education Society, hoisted the national flag followed by National Anthem and released Tri Coloured balloons in the sky. Then followed the Cultural Programme whose theme was – Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity. In the end, the Principal Sir delivered the speech and spoke about the significance of the historic day.
Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. To strengthen this bond, Jindal Public School conducted activities like ‘Rakhi Making’ and ‘Poster making. Students from all classes participated in these activities and made colourful rakhis and poster. The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal. Jindal Public School believes that such celebrations of festivals with true spirit teach students about our Indian traditions. The Principal of the school appreciated the work of the students.
School celebrated Guru Purnima on 13/7/2022 with great zest and excitement. Various activities like speech, Poster making, shloka recitation were conducted on this auspicious occasion. Itis celebrated all across India as an occasion to respect those who bestow knowledge and purpose on us. On this day people celebrate the services of teachers, gurus, and mentors who guide them, from the darkness of ignorance, towards the light of knowledge and wisdom. Purnima means full Moon. The full moon day that falls in the month of Ashadha (June-July) is observed as Guru Purnima.
A seminar on DESIGN THINKING was conducted by the school on 8th July 2022 for the students of classes XI & XII of Science stream to educate them and highlight the importance of Design Thinking through practical and live demonstration. The speaker of the seminar was Mr. Avinash Kumar Singh, Founder & Chairman of STEM VEDAS. He talked about Design Thinking towards Mathematics & Science. The seminar was extremely conceptual that kept all the students captivated and engaged throughout the session. The overall session was very interesting and knowledgeable.
Van- Mahotsav activity was celebrated in 1st week of July in our school. Students highlighted the emotional impact of the Van Mahotsav festival through their speeches. Several activities like Poster Making, Elocution, Speech were conducted to instill the value of social responsibility in the students. The curiosity to learn and will to create a change were clearly seen in the efforts of the students.
Auditorium Activity of Class XI
The school had organised a speech/poem recitation/debate for class XI on 31st May ,2022 in the school auditorium. The topic of the activity was “Technology, Nationalism, Women Empowerment”. A PPT was also presented by students which was a very innovative idea to present a speech. From each class (XIA-Science,XIB-Commerce,XIC-Humanities) students had participated in this speech competition .The speeches of the students were very informative and the students were very confident. The duration of the competition was 2 minutes. It was indeed an informative session.
Auditorium Activity of Class XII
The school had organised a speech/poem recitation/debate for class XI on 31st May ,2022 in the school auditorium. The topic of the activity was “Technology, Nationalism, Women Empowerment”. From each class (XIA-Science,XI B-Commerce,XIC-Humanities) students had participated in this speech competition .The speeches of the students were very informative and the students were very confident. Auditorium Activity of Class X
Students of Class X enthusiastically participated in Elocution Activity organised by the school on 30th May in the auditorium. Although participating is far more important than either “winning” or “losing. So every student was given an opportunity to express their views on various topics like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Slow the flow save H2O, Cyber Crime and many more in both Hindi and English language.
To hone the dancing skills of the students, Solo Dance Competition was organized for classes I to V on 30th May in our school auditorium. The competition began with great zest and excitement. The participants dressed in colourful costumes, twirled around and set the stage on fire with their thrilling performance.The scintillating dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances. The fun filled extravaganza offered classical, traditional and western. All the participants were very energetic and performed their dance forms enthusiastically.
Auditorium Activity of Class IX
Elocution competition was organized for the student of grade IX on 28th May 2022 in the school auditorium. They got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The competition inspired each and every student to come forward speak on stage. The student came up with different views and thoughts and spoken with great fondness and zeal. They enjoy the perfection of expression, thoughts, emotions and views of the theme given to them.
Auditorium Activity of Class VII
Teachers made an earnest effort to instill the importance of mother in every child’s life through giving them chance to prepare few lines on Mother’s Day. Children were told to show their gratitude toward their mother by reciting poem for their mother. The students presented the poem with proper rendition, voice modulation and appropriate pronunciation. Children astonished everyone with their voice modulation and amazing memorizing skill.
Auditorium Activity of Class VIII
Save Earth and Water was the theme of the elocution. The students of grade –VIII enthusiastically participated in the competition . They got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The competition inspired each and every student to come forward and speak on stage. The students came up with different views and spoke that with great fondness and zeal . They enjoyed the perfection of expression, thoughts, emotions, and views of the theme given to them.
Auditorium Activity of Class VI
A wise man has remarked, “The Earth is what we all have in common.” It is our collective responsibility to take care of the planet and we at JPS try to inculcate and foster awareness about environment protection through various activities. One such activity was conducted in the school auditorium on 26 May 2022. All Grade 6 students participated in the activity enthusiastically.
Auditorium Activity of Class V
The students presented the poem with proper rendition, voice modulation and appropriate pronunciation. Children astonished everyone with their voice modulation and amazing memorizing skill. An essential message spread through their elocution was that it is essential to be aware of the dangerous impacts of plastic and imperative to put our hands together to fight against this modern monster, PLASTIC. It was really appreciative that each and every student participated as it takes lots of courage to speak/ perform on stage. At the end teachers appreciated and applauded the performance of the students.
